They're easy to overlook, because they are out of sight and mind. But if you have a W124 chassis, changing your cabin air filters is a must.

Some months ago I bought a W124 with 350.000Kms (my first car) and this is the cabin air filter I found (blarrgh).

Not all of the W124 have the cabin filters . I have a W124 and need to know what models did have them .

Ewwwwwwww!!!! That's horrid!

Where on earth are they located?? I can't remember seeing such a large item in the engine bay of my E320 (M104 motor 1994 model).

Located in the first picture .Under the window wiper .You need to pull all the plastic bits off to get to it .

W124 E class M103 3.0 ASD manual gearbox, W124 T om602 turbo manual gearbox, W201 200d, W126 260SE
I have more than 30 w124's and no one have this filter!!! Here in east Europe I never seen this filter. Maybe only US cars have this!?

Most of them do have them , but they do get overlooked in its location .Not an easy pull out and pop in job like most cars .The top picture is from Mercedessource on you tube .You can see the job done step by step .
