Help Needed to Source Heater Valve

I have been asked to help an acquaintance to find a replacement Heater Valve part number 011 830 07 84 for his E500 which seems an unobtanium as I have checked various vendors but to no avail.

If anyone can show me the lead to as where one can acquire this part, either new or used, I would be grateful. Thanx in advance.

The part number quoted may be wrong, as any web search would have identified the item on the list even superseded by newer item or when stock is no longer available.

Apparently, he has sourced local dealers and abroad to no avail. Seems the item is out of stock. I have helped him search also but nothing...strange.

Did you happen to try Potomac Parts (used parts) in MD (USA) or Speed Autoteile (new parts)in Berlin (Germany) ?

Those would be my first 2 choices to check... Danillo Marschall at Speed also could try to find it from his used parts sources.

You could also post a request on the 500Espot (USA) forum....there are a couple of guys that are parting out .036s.
