My recently acquired 124 300TD was missing a bonnet badge. Thought to splash out on a genuine part rather than have to look at some cheap Chinese repro rubbish every day. Ordered what was described as a Genuine part through ebay. I'm new to these cars but the part that arrived looks like cheap Chinese tut to me. No part number and the finish looks cheap. I'm going to send it back but need to be sure. Does the genuine MB article have the part number stamped on it Or are there any other features that will confirm it is genuine or cheap repro
