260 E a/c stops and Hot air!!!!
Hallo, i have a 1988 mercedes 260E and my problem is that from time to time my a/c shuts off and very hot air starts comming out of vents below windshield. After clicking on climate control a couple of times a/c comes back on. Waht is the problem?

If these two things are happening at the same time, the pushbutton control unit could be faulty. If just one of the problems existed, it could be caused by the components for that function (mono valve for heat, compressor or Klima control for A/C). See if you can find a climate control unit from a scrap 124, and swap it out with your current one.
