W124 E220 to E320 help

Hey guys I need help. I am planning to swap out the engine of my E220 and replacing it from that of a 95 E320 M104. The question is, can i use my M111's auto box on the M104? If not, which auto tranny from specific W124 models would fit to the m104 block? I ask this because the tranny on the E320 atm shudders in reverse but it still moves in reverse. Will I also need to replace my brakes from the E320 donor car or are they just the same as the ones found on the E220?

P.S no i won't sell my e220 to get a running e320.

Hi, so do you think the 722.4 will bolt straight up to the M104 block? By the way, i do remember that the M103's tranny number is 722.3 so am i better off getting a second hand transmission from the 300E m103 And mating it up to the m104?
