Mercedes Benz C180 Kompressor
Overflow hose attachment broken
My expansion tank was leaking and as it was changed and the overflow hose was detached, the other side of the overflow hose broke off caused by corrosion. How can it be fixed best?

If it's the 5/16's " (skinny) tube at the top of your E-tank, then you are going to have to go to rubber as the original "fibrous" one is no longer made..They all got brittle and either broke or salvaged with tape of some sort....See if you can find a diagram of the routing for this tubing as it goes down into a bottle in the front wheel well neighborhood.
