i mean everything is possible, but will they work correctly with stock master cylinder and with stock pressure?

I think so. Bergwerks offers this as an upgrade for W124s - I believe they are using SL500 brakes & pricing there kit around $900.00 - If I could I would. Don't know if these are as robust as SL600 brakes.

BTW - you can also upgrade the transmission to an SL500. It's supposed to have better performance as well as better shifting and more robust build.

Sure you can put them on....whether it is an 'upgrade' is debateable...SL600 brakes use the same size pads as any other W124 and adds more weight on the front corners...really doesn't add up to any performance benefits IMO.

I've heard that the SL600 brakes are very $$$ and are rare. Maybe you might try 400E or 500E brakes, or C32 brakes, they go for cheap.

I have sold a complete front set of SL600 brakes, rotors and pads to a MB owner who has since put on Porsche 996 brakes...he wants to sell the SL brakes for around $700....I can put you (or anyone) in touch with him if you want. FWIW, a new SL caliper is about $1000 new each.

The SL brakes actually came off a 1994 E500 Limited with 60K on it. RennTech F50-like brakes went on it.
