Code 4, 5, 10 at the same time

Hi all,

any ideas? I just cleaned the throttle body out, the resonance valve, the MAF sensor, and changed out the coil, plugs, wires.

1995 e320 wagon - 170k

Not too long after I'm getting 3 fault codes at once 4, 5, 10.

4 Air injection system faulty hot film mass air flow sensor with hot wire
5 Exhaust gas recirculation faulty
10 Voltage at mass air sensor too high/low

what do you guys think? where do I start.

I'm thinking EGR tube is clogged, but then i'm thinking it's related to me cleaning the the throttle and resonance and me messing something up.

I just don't know what to mess with first - i can't find any posts with all three - they must be related.

thanks,
dave

do you think a bad MAF would have caused all three?

Hey buddy, why the rude response? No need to be a d*ck . . . don't give W124 owners a bad name by being needlessly mean and rude, especially when someone is asking an honest question and looking for help.

I've researched this and I'm getting that I need to do both the MAF and clean the EGR tube.

Your second post is, "You ruined the MAF with all the BS spray you used--get a new one and live long and prosper!"

my response was, "will a bad MAF cause all 3?"

A simple yes or no would suffice - your initial post gave no clarification about the MAF causing 1 or more of the codes.

chill out man
