All, my e220 cabrio central locking has never worked since I purchased it, so action was needed.
I am new to the marque and this car so a lot of learning, I've proved 2 issues, pump not working and no permanent live to the unit.
1 eBay pump later and power direct from battery to pump and I can lock both doors and fuel cap, not boot tho, and they do not unlock.... so question is what's likely to be the cause as doors and fuel lock..... this proves pipework, or does it ?
Pump locks but makes no attempt to activate and unlock..... anyone going to point me where to start
