W124 250D - rough idle / vibrations in D and R

Hello there,

I am a new owner of the W124, my first Mercedes. It is a 250D (OM 602.912 engine - normally aspirated) and the gearbox is four-speed Automatic (722.3 / 722.4)

The problem I have is the following:

The Neutral and Parking idle is about 750rpm. In Drive and Reverse decreases to about 600rpm and 500rpm respectively.

The engine vibrates quite loudly on the Drive and on the Reverse. Neutral and Parking vibrate less, comparable to other diesel cars. I do not know exactly how much it should vibrate. On youtube they see that they do not vibrate the whole car as it is in my case (resonates the windows, the board, the seats ... free vibromassage). The moment the car is moving (traffic, road, etc.) all the vibrations disappear and the engine seems quieter. The auto transmission changes smoothly without jerking. BUT, when I stop in Drive, with the brake pressed, it raises again.

When the switch from Parking to Drive or Reverse, it vibrates very bad, especially in Reverse.

On a gasoline model (220E), I saw a throttle clutch compensation system.
An automated gearbox system that will lift a little reluctance to counteract the drop caused by the extra drive and Reverse load.

In my diesel model I can not figure out how this system is connected, how or if I need to adjust it.

Do you have any idea what I could try?

Thanks!

It sounds like the engine mounts are worn out, you should replace the transmission mount at the same time so all 3 mounts are new.
