Please help
Hello,
I have a 1988 300 ce and the RPM is high (around 1500), but when the ABS light is coming on the RPM is normal (around 750).
I cleaned up the throttle body and I changed spark plugs, wires, distributor cap.
Also the RPM goes down when I turn on the lights, heat ...etc.
My car has no A/C.

If you turn on electrical devices, the battery is probably on its last legs, and the alternator is failing as well. The ABS lamp comes on when the voltage drops too low. This prevents the ABS from working so power is available for essential functions (fuel delivery/injection, lights).

You might be right, I bought the car with a much smaller battery (size) I thought is ok.
