Rubbing on a '91 300E

I've been driving a 300E now for about 6 months and I decided to put my wheels on for summer, but I've never put them on this car before. Anyway, the car's lowered on H&R's with no. 3 pads all around, and the front tires are rubbing against the fender's over bumps when the suspension's rebounding.

I'm switching to no. 4 pads upfront tomrw morning, but I don't think it'll raise the front end enough. My wheels are 18 x 8 1/6 Evo's w/ 225/40-18's. Besides rolling the fenders, what else can I do?

Enzo, my Benzo
I had a similar issue and because I dealt with a great shop here when I bought the wheels and tires brand new, they let me mount em, try them and exchange the tires for 215 40 18's which work perfectly...

Carlsson 2/6's 18x8 ET35 215 40 18 ..no probs...

215's are the way to go for a slammed W124

I had the same problem with my car.
One thing you can do is put some rubber stoppers (rubber washers) on the top of the front shocks....work'd for me
