w124 front seats
I've seen many broken down front seat spring boxes. Does anyone know where new ones can be purchased? With the regularity of this problem I'm surprised nobody is making new ones. I've seen the Star article about replacing them, and it sounds easy enough, but it isn't much good without something new to put in there. The 124 I'm about to buy has tired seats and it's the first thing I intend to fix. Thanks.

I've replaced a broken one and yes, pretty easy once you get the seat out. There are minor differences in the early and later ones. I'm sure the dealer can sell just the spring but probably $$$. Some part out on seats if the covering is shot.

they are wholesale mercedes parts distributor.

i need to refresh drivers seat only.
i'd really like to recover it with new leather.
