Air Con!!

I spent a long time today with my mechanic working on the AC. We got it ti work by supplying outside power to the compresser. We chnaged a relay switch and it worked for a moment. \The mechanic says that the compresser is fine (we also added two cans of Freon) but the compressor is not getting poer either from the inside panel or from under the hood from the relay switch to the compressor.

Has anyone had expierence with this air conditioning problem????

When you say "relay switch" are you referring to the black box next to the KE control unit (behind the pass. side firewall)?

The black box is the "Klima" control unit. It compares the speed of the compressor to the speed of the engine, and if a large difference is detected, the Klima turns off the compressor. It can only be restarted by cycling the ignition key.

Turning the key off, then back on.

I replaced the MAS climate control unit...and that was the FIX! We have cold air!
