vibration on initial movement

I have been trying to troubleshoot a vibration in the rear of my 1995 E300 whenever I move forward from a stop. From about 5-15 mph there is a pronounced vibration in the rear of the car, seems to come mostly from the rear passenger side but sometimes just the middle. The vibration gets worse to about 15 mph the stops at speeds >15. I can drive at normal road speed up to 60-70 without vibration. It only appears at start of movement. It happens with every start from 0 mph.
I've replaced the R rear driveshaft, check the R rear wheel bearing (seems tight without any excess play) no noticeable suspension abnormalities and check the flex coupling at the driveshaft-differential interface (seems ok without noticeable cracks or play)

Anybody hear of this problem before and any ideas ?
