Correct coolant for 1990 300E

I’ve looked through existing threads enough to get confused. Might have looked too much, lost track of WHERE the info came from, ie 300E, W124 (covers a lot of ground), forums.
Here’s what I have, right or wrong. Looking to have coolant on hand, just in case, and for possible flush and fill someday. I thought I had the definitive answer, other than MB coolant, that was Zerex G-05, until I actually had it in hand, whereupon I read, on the back of the container, that it is “AUTOMAKER APPROVED for use in: Mercedes-Benz 1997 - current model years. It did have the “Phosphate free, High Organic Acid Technology” descriptors, which, I thought I was suspposed to be looking for, but considering my 1990 is it unnessasary, or even counterproductive!
Am I going to be glad that I kept my receipt?
I’ve also read that Prestone is ok in the “older Benzes”, whatever that means.
After a 7 mph lmpact rendered my first M-B, and so beloved, 300E “totaled” (1991, 135,000, 2-owner, and running like a spinning top), I searched for another, and found a 1990, 104,000, one-owner, first nine years of it’s life on the big island, purchased from M-B of Honolulu, all M-B dealer maintained. Had to pay three times the cost of the ‘91 (still regret not taking the $400.00 hit to the insurance settlement and keeping it, but I do enjoy the married life, so...
It had a pretty intensive 100,000 mile service shortly before I got it that included a new radiator, so I don’t want to make too colossal a miss-step. Is radiator replacement a normal part of the 100,000 mile service or might it have had issues?
Anywho, I do appreciate any help/input along this subject and sorry for bending your ears.
Bob

I doubt that you will find any product the meets the MB325 spec for that vehicle however G-05 product will do just fine in a 50 50 ratio.

Prestone is NOT OK for MBs...sure, you can use it, but down the road there will be issues because of it.

Changing out a radiator, while not mentioned as normal replacement item, sure is a good idea today if it's original.
