Gooday !

Just installed a VDO oil pressure sender... I now notice that it tends to
fluctuate..... Would a new switch take time to stabilize !

Oil is fresh..

Any Advice & suggestions would be greatly appreciated....

what was wrong w/the old one? I.e. previous symptoms leading you to change it?

HiYa !

Replaced the oil Pressure sender as the old one would consistently read oka fro a few seconds and
than fade out to zero all the time while driving.. Engine temp was very stable... Noticed oil in
the vicinity of the sender.....

Now every thing is tickaty boo and stable.. I reckon the erratic reading was because I had cleaned and
washed under the car with hose.... I suspect I had the erratic reading due to moisture got into the wireloom...
I must have the wire degrading syndrome.
