I’ve got a 94 E320 that shifts absolutely perfect in all forward gears and reverse, it’s just that it has a 4 second delay going into reverse but no slippage. It’s been this way for the 10 years I’ve had it. For some reason I thought to myself (after all this time) maybe there’s a simple fix? Is there some sort of fix for this issue or does it require pulling the tranny apart? Thanks!
