FS: C36 Engine with 722.6 Trans
For those of you dreaming/contemplating/looking to do "the swap"... This is an engine and trans out of a 97 C36. Body was too rusty, and figured I would find a use for the combo at some point. Rather than it keep sitting, it's being put up for sale.
Please do your research if you are thinking about doing the swap as you will need accessories from a 93-95 M104 from a w124 for the engine swap. As well as an aftermarket TCU for the transmission.
There is approx 220,000km on the combo. I drove the car around the block prior to removal
Price is $2500 (USD)
Located 45 min west of Toronto, Ontario - Canada. Local pickup encouraged. I can crate up if required. Buyer to arrange and pay for transportation.

Hey joef - A requirement is that of an aftermarket style transmission TCU. Just where would a suitable aftermarket TCU be purchased and or programmed? Additionally, the accompanied C36 donor gearbox is a 4sp automatic, no?

Hi Mike,
The controller that all the g-wagon guys are using for their builds is from https://ofgear.dk/ . As well I think there is a forum member here does them as well, but the name escapes me.
The 722.6 in my sale is a 5 speed electronic, that's why the aftermarket TCU is required.
I also have a 95-96 engine that originally had a 722.3 if one is interested in making life easier.
