Another Starting problem Thread, 300TE 4matic
Its the inline 6 SOHC in a 92. You have to hold the starter for a few cranks, and it starts up, but idles very rough, whenever you push on the gas, the revs drop, and then rise up to like 2000 depending on throttle position. Sometimes, if you push gas hard you can hear it misfiring or something, you hear a small bang, im guessing unignited fuel and hot header, or knock or something. After a minute or two of warming up, it runs like a dream. Ive already replaced spark plugs, and i doubt its ignition, im currently guessing its fuel. Any ideas before i go to the dealer and bend over? We also cleaned the throttle body, but it didnt help either.
BTW, the car is for sale, or gonna be if i can get it fixed. Any help would be severely appreciated.

Also, what is the MAS Box thing next to the ECU, what does it do and what should it be set on?
And where is the fuel filter located? Im gonna assume its fuel since its not ignition. And the relay? Piccs would be fantastic.
