Bring back the 124!!

Good day fellow 124 owners. I, Sam, have chosen to start a new foundation. Entitled, bring back the W124 chassis! These new looks are simply too stylish for our needs! we enjoy the boxy classy looks of the 124 (especially the 124.026 )

so fellow 124 owners, join with me, and together we can bring back the good old days with 124's and the engine code before the model code! (300E vs. E300!!)

Your wish can come true, if you take a trip to Korea. Mercedes has licensed the W124 design, including the M102, M103 and M104 engines and suspensions to a Korean automaker. The "hitch" is that it is for domestic consumption only.

The Chairman

I just traded my '95 for an '05, while the '95 was indeed a classic, the '05 blows it away in looks performance and comfort

about the only good thing the Ssangyong chairman might be for w124 owners ,is the re-manufacture of w124 mechanical parts made in Korea. It will be interesting to compare prices, you would think they would be cheaper, which may be a big win for us.Maybe someone could check this out,and post a new thread about this.
