1991 300e 12v swap to a 24valve?
Is it worth the work? What problems can i run into? any tips??
And i have been looking for a chiptuning for the 300e by havent been able to find any?

Chips won't do you much (if any) good. The m103 (12v straight 6) uses an electromechanical FI system; chips work best with "fully" electronic systems.
As far as swapping w/ the 24v (m104) engine, it will be a lot of work. Some of the 104 engines used a similar (probably the same?) FI system, and if you can find one of these the swap will be easier. Later 104 engines were "fully" EFI and will require more work to get them functional.
It all depends on the time and money you have to spend on the project.
