Brake Booster Line 1990 300E
Hello New member here,
I just bought my 1990 300E a few weeks ago and am having a hell of a time trying to find a Brake Booster line for it online anywhere. All vendors that carry it show that it's out of stock and no eta on when it will be back in stock. the dealers here in FL can't even get it. I'm considering making my own as I did find the correct one-way valve and some areospace grade High temp tubing 11/32. Does anyone else have any ideas?

That is the real story, I called several dealers in FL and they all told me that they are not able to get that part ( the part number is 124 430 53 29). Have checked vendors all over the web. They all said that part is not available in the entire united states. They are not able to order it from Germany either, Germany shows not available as well. If you know of a vendor that sells this part please send me the info or a link.

To anyone who sees this thread and has the same issue I did finding the Brake Booster Line 1244305329. I was able to track down some 11/32 size high temp aerospace grade hose designed for the same conditions as the original and the valve which is used in many models and years of German vehicles. I was able to cut of the Thermoplastic tubing off the original fittings with a pip cutter and reuse the fittings which were in awesome shape. I cut the hoses to the same length as the original and installed it. After some test driving, the parts performs as the original did and I'm sure that it will last longer than the original as the specs exceed the original's specs.

I usually have good luck with Pelican parts are Mercedes Benz source. But for my throttle body linkage I had the same problem. They (pelican parts staff) told me that there's one Factory in Germany that still makes the parts for linkage. Long story short I called that Factory and found somebody that spoke to halfway decent English and ordered it directly from Germany it just took forever. That's the problem with these old benzes parts are sometimes hard to come by. Just don't take no for an answer be stubborn and it'll pay off

Thanks BenzosNoLorenzo, I have come to that conclusion myself because I don't plan on giving up on it. The simple fact that it's still on the road an driving 29 years later says a lot about Mercedes quality at least during that period. This is my first mercedes and i should have bought one of these old Mercedes years ago.
