Lights freaked out other day!

1991 300E, 1961 Type I, 2004 Mustang, 2014 Optima Turbo, 2007 Santa Fe
Lights freaked out other day!
I was driving 1991 300E
So I was on my way home from work and heard a clicking sound (Like a relay) coming from under my dash.
Turn signals nor hazards were on.
I get home and find out the passenger headlight and front and rear markers are blinking.
Even after I shut off the car and lock it.
Then it goes away after awhile.
It didn't happen since but I was wonder What The Heck?
Does anyone have a clue why it did that?
