Pardon the driveby, years ago I had a dozen 124s, now just an A124 Cabriolet with 68K on the clock. Driver seat is frozen in my position, lol, so no one else can drive it. And of course, that looks intentional as I have not fixed it for a few years. So maybe a little intentional. Nonetheless, I am committed to making the Cab wife-friendly, so need the seat module which I have only found at ebay for north of $400 used, maybe, a fair price?

Are you sure it's the seat module? Does your telescoping steering wheel still work - it is controlled by the same module. If so, perhaps it is the door switch instead of the module. Does the passenger seat still work - if not check fuses E & F. Just a few thoughts.
