Starter Lock-Out/Back-Up Lamp Switch

I have a problem with my 94 E320 Starter Lock-Out/Back-Up Lamp Switch.
I have identified the switch as the reason why my car suddenly won't start, but it looks pretty tight up there on the side of he transmission. Alldata offers no "how to..." so I'm hoping somebody can either tell me how to replace it or tell me were I can get the information. I HOPE I don't have to drop the tranny.
Thanks

No you do not have to remove the tranny, but it is in a very tight location and will require some patience. If you have Alldata look under neutral safety switch. It isn't that difficult to remove (basic tools) just a little tight.

To temporarily start your car put the shifter in neutral and then try to start it.
