Need advice on painting grill insert

Hello,

For those of you who have painted the grill insert black, what paint did you use and how is it holding up with regards to chipping or anything?

Any advice/tips on doing this right myself is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Duron

I painted the grille on my Audi S4 black with a product called Plastikote. It is a spraypaint available at Pep Boys. I simply did it in flat black, applied a few coats and then reinstalled.

i bought some flat black bumper paint from Pep-Boys and its holding on real well, been on for about 3 weeks and so far no chipping or scratches...just make sure u get a good 4-5 coats on it.
