Lowering Springs/Shocks

Im going to be getting 17x8 wheels with 215-45 tires and Id like to know how to lower it 1 1/2 - 2 inches. Should I go with just lowering springs or new shocks? What brand and where could I get them? USA shipping/Price doesnt matter.

Shocks won't lower your car. Get springs to do that.

I would recommend getting both sport shocks and springs. With firmer sport suspension old non-sport shock will wear out very quickly. Tirerack.com has the best pricing on sport springs.

haters crazy
DON'T change just the springs. Your car will bounce like crazy and ride like crap. Get springs AND shocks at the same time. I have intrax springs and bilstein sport shocks and I am very pleased.
