It wont work, the hood is different and the heatlights also. Your 300E wont fit the E320 grill. Unless you do the E320 conversion like what I did.

hi,
my '91 300E has a front conversion done:
new hood, new grill ofcourse, and new headlights.
no hard job, but I also question the worthiness of doing it (previous owner did it to mine).
I like the older grill very much, it gives the cars some sort of classic look. this moderns it up a bit.
