I am Paul from the Philippines and I'm looking for a OEM Lorinser bodykit for my 1986 W124. Specifically the non e-look kit like this one, i know it's rare and it's been a while since I started looking for this kit. Any leads and information will be much of help and appreciated. Thank you!!
I am afraid you will be as disappointed as I am with the search for Lorinser bodykit. I have a 1990 300CE with the full Lorinser bodykit (different from the one you are after). In addition to the bodykit, I also have the Lorinser 17" D93 wheels (their wheel caps now sell like gold) and the dual-tip Lorinser tail-box (see pictures). As my front bumper was damaged beyond repair, after a world wide search for a replacement, in 2015 I managed to ask Lorinser Germany to make me a front bumper for my 300CE. This was just before they intended to scrap the moulding for the front bumper, and it was too bad that they already disposed of the moulding for the side skirts. So, your best of luck is to find used parts through the local market or eBay. I just did another world wide search for a set of the Lorinser side skirts but they are no longer available anywhere. I am planning to find Mercedes used factory originals as they look similar to the Lorinser set. My other choice is, now that AMG bodykit are plentiful in supply and are more affordable, to switch to AMG, but what would I do with the front and rear Lorinser bumper? So I might plan to stay with Lorsiner.
In my earlier search, Thailand used to have a shop that produced in producing after-market parts for Mercedes and BMW. They had the Lorinser bodykit but the cost of shipping to Hong Kong was overboard, so I did not pursue. Carshine Australia also used to carry some old stock of Lorinser parts for W124, but most have been sold by now.
