Smile Are these corner lights any good?

Here is one link. They are pretty cheap and I am a man of budget. Is it easy to install?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW

Also, I want to replace my grill with a new grill. Are these good? Will it last? Is it easy to put on?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33645

Thanks guys!

If you are a man of budget, go and get them they are cheap. If you are planning to have a "collectors car" then get the originals from MB.
The corners normally dont last for ever anyway, due to gravel and parking lot damages, sois the grille, so better get the part cheap and once in a while new once. They are easy to install. You just have to press a little springtype plastic part inside the fendor and the corner pops out to be replaced and put back in again. 2 minutes each side, including finding the place to press.
The grille is a little more work to be replaced, but no big deal either 20-30 minutes.

If you're on a budget it's ok I guess. Otherwise you can get better quality ones for a little bit more. I always believed in you get what you pay for.
Try to get the crystal clear corners. If you're going to update your grill , try to avoid the cheap strips. You can do that yourself for 5 bucks, get a roll of chrome strip at Pep Boy's. Get the real chrome S600 insert avoid the cheap looking strips.

These are so much better as they are crystal clear. They sell for $26 US buy it now on eBay all the time. I am tempted myself.

I am in th eprocess of shopping for corner lights for my car also. I want to buy the highest quality product for my Mercedes and I believe it to be Hella and Bosch. Here is a list of part numbers that I found:

Mercedes Benz OEM part numbers:

124 826 11 43 Lamp Left Front Blinker White EURO 63.37 The part is available.
124 826 12 43 Lamp Right Front Blinker White EURO 60.93 The part is available.

124 826 09 43 LF INDICATOR LAMP W124 CLEAR EURO 34.10 The part is available.
124 826 10 43 RF INDICATOR LAMP W124 CLEAR EURO 34.10 The part is available.

124 826 07 43 LF INDICATOR LAMP W124 CLEAR EURO 33.51 The part is available.
124 826 08 43 RF INDICATOR LAMP W124 CLEAR EURO 33.51 The part is available.

Which set are the correct/current OEM numbers? Maybe someone can help with this????

HELLA part numbers:

2BA 004 693-031 = 124 820 17 21 According to HELLA. Even more Mercedes part numbers!
Indicator Flasher lamp, left (white), with pre-fitted 12V bulb.

2BA 004 693-041 = 124 820 18 21 According to HELLA. Even more Mercedes part numbers!
Indicator Flasher lamp, right (white), with pre-fitted 12V bulb

The arrows point to the HELLA logo to identify authentic HELLA lights.

Robert Bosch GmbH part numbers:

1 305 233 936 LF INDICATOR LAMP W124 CLEAR
Properties: Lateral Mounting, Lamp Form P21W

1 305 233 937 RF INDICATOR LAMP W124 CLEAR
Properties: Lateral Mounting, Lamp Form P21W

Is it true that there is a difference in the color between the Hella and Bosch? I believe I read somewhere that the Hella are slightly darker.

You can get the smoked clear corner lights as well but I still prefer the crystal clear ones over the diffused. Personal preference I suppose.

The crystal clear ones are cheap brittle plastic garbage and the rubber seals are bad too...go with Bosch.

I'm not sure, but I think that the CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) stipulates that there must be yellow colored reflector material on the front corners, and I don't think that any of those all white corner lenses are strictly legal here in the U.S.

On my car I put the corner lights from a 94 e320 on. It has a small yellow reflector on the sides, but is otherwise clear. Made by Bosche, excellent parts. Got them at importpartsonline.com. Well worth the extra money.

Those Hella/Bosch lights are very nice indeed. You get what you pay for theses days so I wouldnt mind paying more. Anyone know where I can from some nice and good quality smoked clear corners and euro headlights? I saw a picture in the forums and it was pretty nice.

Thanks Cali. They have them but not the smoked ones.

http://www.importvision.com/index.ph...ype=Headlights

Anyways, you would have to get a new headlight harness huh since the new headlights take h3/h4 bulbs?

EDIT: nevermind I found the smoked corner lights but not the headlights.

yupp i update my grille look myself...its pretty easy...
1.open ur hood
2.there will be 4 bolts i beileve..2 on the very outside and 2 in the inner part...for the inner part u will need a extended socket wrecnh type thingy to get the bolts off.
3. Once the whole grille asembly is removed remove the little round wheat thingy right under the Mercedes star...
4.This is the tricky part...u will notice 4 snap on metal flaps holding the inner egg crate grille on..u will probably need a screwdriver to help u slide those 4 off (2 on each side)
5. Once those are taken off u can do wutever uwant to ur inner grill i.e. Paint it...btw the chrome strips slide rite off.
6. When ur done just reasemble them...hardest part of reasembly is getting those 4 metal flaps back on to hold the inner grille in place....Gl
