1995 E320 Wagon Crank No Start
I have been in a situation where my 1995 E320 wagon hasn’t started in almost 3 months i am 17 years old and this is my daily driver. It started off with when i got off work all of my dash lights turned on every time i let off throttle so i tested the alternator and it was no good so i replaced it. Ever since i replaced it the car hasn’t started hasnt even tried to fire off but it does crank. i first noticed i wasn’t getting fuel pressure so i spent the day replacing fuel pumps, OVP, and fuel pump relay. Didn’t have any luck with that so i checked all fuses and made sure i was getting power through all of them even replaced them. I then swapped the computers and crankshaft position sensors with one of my other cars which both have ASR nothing changed. After the car wouldn’t start i put the original computer back in and gave up and got it towed to a European specialist which knew these cars pretty well from what he told me. After 2 weeks of him messing with it he gave me a call and said he basically gave up on the car because he can’t figure anything out besides it has no fuel pressure or spark and he wasn’t going to charge me. I ordered a brand new CPS wondering if the issue was still from that knowing the one i put in wasn’t new. I threw the new CPS in along with a ignition switch and updated lower wiring harness. I have yet to find any other forms with the same issues and i have posted on facebook groups several times and everyone is scratching their heads. If anyone has any information please let me know i will be trying everything

Checked Main Grounds
the car DOES have an Updated Wiring harness and throttle body

Alarm would be my next port of call . I had problems last year, i did all that i knew and i change this, swaped that. .In the end i gave up and called an auto elec guy who found it right away,the imobiliser had packed up, he then removed the wires from the coil and it started up right away .

Damn, why didn't I think of that? Oh! That's because I've been a troubleshooter for 35 years and when you do as much as he has there's always the possibility that he didn't do 1 of them correctly etc... Now have a good day
