Need to create a hot 12V 30amp supply tap in the trunk of our '94 E-320 Coupe. .. What are the best practices when retro threading 8ga wire starting at the battery and ending in the trunk? .. The V8 W124 models having their battery in the trunk - is there possibly a wiring raceway of sorts in place on the passenger side? .. Is anything gained from say using the V8 W124 model's positive + battery to engine compartment OE wire/cable? .. The V8s battery cabling, trunk to engine bay/starter area is available. .. Any been there - done that insight?
