Over the last few weeks I replaced the 30 year old ball joints, bushings and wheels bearings. While I was at it I sandblasted the original Lower control arms and welded on the Commonwealth bag brackets (it’s a bolt on kit) and had them powder coated. I also sandblasted and rattle canned the hubs, knuckles and dust shields. Over the winter I’ll pull everything off that is painted and have them powder coated as well.

Every job you have done is fantastic..Only thing i an going top say is to remove the paint from hub face ..I know it looks nice and will stop any corrosion .But at the same time can throw the disc out when fited ..I must be flat shiny hub face slear it with grease so it wont stick in olace when you have to remove it for a puncture ...

Overall looks nice.

Agree with get rid of the paint on the hub face. Vibration, tire wear and lug bolts not tightened properly can result.

I don't like the hot weld (heat affected zone) on the lower spring perch on the lower control arm. But what's done is done. Let's see the vehicle in all its glory!

It creates a risk of fatigue cracking. Not possible to tell for sure by a photo. The welds look hot to me.
