Filler panels

You can get them from Mercedes for pretty cheap. Hard to believe, I know. I think I paid about $15 for both.

Do you happen to know the part number? Do they come painted, or just primed?

Thanks

I think they come primered dont they? either white or black. I could be wrong. But I should order those too since I should just remove my headlight wipers since they dont even work anymore.

Actually, my situation is a little different. I have a 91 300E that I've put euro headlights on. I have the wiper motors, blades and arms for the 94-95 E320, all I need to reinstall some working headlight wipers is the trim panel with the holes in it for the 94-95 models.

I personally really like the headlight wipers. Here in the NW, driving in the winter on the highway can really foul the headlight lenses up, and believe me your headlights can get really dim without cleaning. Working headlight wipers was the ONLY thing that I liked about the DOT headlights that were originally on my car.

I guess I'm looking for the part number for these headlight trim panels plus the rubber or plastic grommets for a 94-95 model. Problem is if I go into my local idiot stealership, they will be totally clueless and insist on having the VIN to look up any parts, and my VIN won't work.

Solved

I purchased the wiper motors / arms and blades for a 94. For the facia trim panel, I just very carefully drilled the stock one on my car to accomodate the new location for the wiper motor shaft. Works perfectly.

Wiper motor part #

Anyone have the part # for the 94-95 headlight wiper motors. I have a 89 that I will be converting headlights and wanted to get the newer style motors.
