I thought you already painted your grille black? If you're gonna paint it again, just use a semi-flat black. If you get rock chips in it it won't be as noticable as if it were a glossy black.

finish painting

no i just took off the grill and painted it. Earlier the pictures i edited it taking another black grill and putting it on my car to see how it would look. I just finished this tedious task. Took me about 2-3 hours to paint the grill. Took me about 2-2.5 hours to get the stupid grill on. If your planning on painting your grill, you better be able to have the patience because it took me awhile to get this done. ill post pictures of the grill tomorrow when the sun comes up. I still need to purchase a hood release because i unfortunately broke mine in the process of taking off the hood.

Sounds like you made a fairly easy job into a project? I have done 3 of them and none took me over 15 min to take the grill off and replace it! I used one good coat of the flat black BBQ grill paint and it has not shown a spot in over year and a half.

dam you

haha it took me like 4-5 hours to complete mine D:. How the hell did u put the grill back on in 15 minutes? The clips are so hard to put back especially putting it onto the grill. Wow good job you really make me sound like an idoit ^^. Well im not very familar with this and i had to play around to get the grill off and back on.

The hardest most time consuming was masking the chrome strips in the grill! Other than that piece of cake. I will say the my 95 grill was the easiest to remove! But use that BBQ paint very durable and not quite a totally flat finish but not gloss either!

weird

why did you have to mask your chrome strips for the grill? I just simply slid it right off the grill and put it back when i finished the paint. My benz is an 87 and the clips was a pain in the *** to put back with the grill.

Confident about the install? lol It'll be easy.

Post some pictures of the grill. I want to see how it came out. Looking at that old picture of my car, I'm so glad I changed out the front.

Honestly when i put the grill back and took a look at it i cant really tell the difference unless i look at the pictures i took.

For some reason the paint in the pic looks very lite? Should have used the grill paint sort of semi but not shiny gloss and looks blacker! Could be just the lighting!

The headlight install should only take you a hour or two or even less! What took me the longest during the install was the bolt that connects to the innner side by the radiator. It's a b!tch to remove.

headlights

yah i hope it wont take too long to install, but keep in mind i no absolutely nothing about doing this. I rely on installation with my instructions. It would feel good to get these installed asap because some bright lights are definitely needed for my car.

Do it, black looks much better than the old faded gray.

headlights

w00t i got my shipment today and i installed my headlights. Took me about 3 hours to install. Im very disappointed on the headlights. They definitely look terrible on my car. Mayb they will look better wen i change my corner lights, but the output of the headlights are much better than before.
I will post pictures up later because im too tired right now
