it has come to my attention that the om603 from has a vacuum pump with exposed ball bearings and that when it fails has possibility of causing catastrophic engine damage. i have heard that its best to replace om603 original vacuum pump with the updated vacuum pump with sealed ball bearings and to inspect vacuum pump timing device for wear, and if it is worn to replace vacuum pump timing device. What is the vacuum pump timing device part number? is the vacuum pump timing device the vacuum pump gear sprocket? is it the cam disk, cam follower, cam roller? if it is, what are the part numbers for the cam disk, cam follower and cam roller? is the vacuum pump timing device sold as in item or in conjunction with something else?
