CE and CE Cabriolets?
Does it have less headroom than a sedan and are the windshields and side glass shorter too? What is the wind noise like at speed?

I haven't compared it with the sedan, but the headroom (and other room) is adequate. I'm 6'4". There is little to no wind noise at speed... none of the whistling you hear with other convertibles.

I don't believe the winshield or windows are any shorter...I was just in a nice CE and also a Cabby this summer and made note of how spacious it was all around, just like the sedans.
The cabrios were made by the Karmann Coackwerks....one of the best in the business. They are extra strong/rigid because of their tops than the sedans. There should be NO NOISE at speed, if there is, I'd question that the body was not straight...ie accident

AFAIK, all the glass is different between the coupe and the sedan (the windshield is more steeply raked and the back window is more flat).
Wind noise is less (in the coupe) than in my CLK

the wind noise is pretty much the same in the 300e and the 300ce, our 300e does feel a little more spacious, the 300ce does feel a little tighter in the chassis, but that is more a fact of different suspension
