Hello Everyone,

I have tried searching for this but I haven't found any answers. My 1995 E250D wagon has the self leveling suspension and I recently purchased a set of H&R lowering springs part #29627. I also purchased a set of Bilstein B8 Shocks and Struts. The front Shocks fit perfectly fine but the rear struts do not even come close to fitting. The part number for the Blisten rear struts is 24-014700. I am wondering if anyone has any information on what the correct part number for Bilstein rear struts for a 1995 E250D wagon with self leveling suspension is?

I also heard that the Bilstein struts will not work unless I convert the car over from the self leveling suspension? The lowering spring kit works just fine front and rear.

@ryguy993 have you made any progress with this? I’m picking up my ‘91 300te next week and want to lower with the h&r / bilstein b8 combo as well. From what I’ve read, you only change the springs in the rear then adjust the sls. This seems to be the best write up on it Link
