Loose Door Trim Panel

On my 92 300E Sedan, the driver's side rear door panel is loose at the bottom and is flapping against the car. I want to fix it before it falls off. Do I need to buy new "clips"? How do I remove/replace? Thanks!

The panel lifts off in an upwards direction. The locating lugs are part of the trim and are slighty tapered to pull the panel snugly onto the door as the panel is pushed down. If you are lucky the lugs will not be broken, just not inserted properly into their slots in the door metalwork. There is a single bolt, unclip the trim around the interior door handle to get to it. There are three or four clips holding the top of the panel around the window rubber so a smart jerk is needed finally to lift it away.

Thanks and sorry, I must be clearer... the panel is the outside plastic trim at the bottom of the door. There seems to be several different types of pins that fit along a top and bottom rail and plug into the door. Any tricks?
