OIL Change!
Hey all I am new to the Forum. I just purchased a 1995 E 320 with 91,800 miles and I am going to do the first oil change. Is there any tips or tricks I can do or anything I need to know before tackiling this job? I am a decent mechanic so I have the basic tools and knowledge but this is my first benz!
Thanks to all

Welcome to the forum. I hope you get a lot of enjoyment from your car.
This engine has a reusable canister for the oil filter. Only the paper element gets replaced. You need a special tool to remove this canister. It's a 76mm - 14 flute cap wrench. Here's a link to some discussion on where you can get this wrench:

Also, refill with 7 quarts, not the 7.5 quarts specified in the manual. Since manufacture, MB made this change because the original oil level was too tough on the main seals, resulting in leakage. This should be roughly midlevel on the dipstick.
