18" AMG Monoblock II tire size?

Trying to decide a tire size for a 1995 E320 (with no drop) on 18" AMG's. Dont want to get too low prof and have too big of a gap in the wheel well. Thanks

I would go with 225/40/zr18.

I ran that size on my 300E.

I don't really recommend 18's on your car. I would recommend 17 x 8 size wheels all around for a better fit. Especially if you plan on lowering your car

BAH! ChrisdPham!

I run 18x8 ET35 Carlsson 2/6's and tried running 225/40/18 but because my car is very low it rubbd. 215/40/18 works like a charm and isn't even that rough...

Since you do not plan to lower it 225's will work great. I would recommend lowering it a bit because you'll end up with brutal wheel gap in the fenders kinda like mike's pic, (no offense mike)

Here's my lowered 300E on 18X8's (215 40)

and a pic of the lack of clearance of the 225's on the same suspension (just had em on for the show cause they wouldn't fit normally )

No offense taken Zorro. After all, I sold that car already, so its not mine anymore. What was the offset on the carlssons? I rad 18x8 et 38, I think that a 35 offset would be the culprit to the major rubbing issues, when lowered.

As stated above, I run ET35 on the Carlssons. The 215's don't rub at all. 225's would require me to roll the fenders and I can't be bothered to re paint all four fenders when the likely event of paint cracking occurs
