1994 E320 - While the engine is out, Maintenance parts needed?
We have a complete running 1994 E320 (130k miles) with engine now removed. Complete engine and transmission will be installed in our 1989 190e 2.6 Project Vehicle.
While the engine is out, we want to ensure we replace all maintenance parts that are easy to access. Other maintenance items can be done when engine is installed. No service history on the engine 😔. The head is not expected to be removed.
If you have any specific ideas on what to replace, please share. Thank you in advance.
1994 M104 3.2 Engine
The start of the list is:
- wiring harness (updated, but not sure where to purchase?)
- rear main seal
- front crankshaft seal
- belt/pulleys
- water pump
