Question Brake Job on 88 260E

Hello, everyone. I have an 88 260E and I am looking to do replace the front rotors, pads and sensors. My dad has been trying to discourage me from doing it myself with an experience friend but I can't justify paying significantly more when I could accomplish the same with a few hours of effort. Has anyone here done this themselves? How long did it take? Did you run into any major complications? Do you have any tips or recommendations? Thank you so much for all your help and Merry Christmas.

260E , 1989 (for now)
This is a fairly easy/basic job.
Make sure you have solid jacks under the car.
No special tool required.
I did mine in about 1 1/2 hour last summer.

Brakes

I would like to add that even thou it all seems straight forward it still takes a bit of know how to do this job. You are going to need some metric tools for one thing and a large C clamp or pair of pliers to push the piston back in. And there are others things that would be nice to have around to make the job go smooth. I mean it's not just that easy to put your car up on jacks and perform this job if you have never done one before.

If you have an experienced friend next to you, you should be okay. Tutoring is the best way to learn.
