unsteady feel at higher speeds

My 88 260E seems to drive just fine at slower speeds (50mph or less) but once it gets up to about 65+ it becomes very unsteady and very succeptible to wind. When I approach larger vehicles like semis, the car starts to pull to one side or the other. This just started about 2 months ago and it really concerns me because at times I feel like the car could lose control. To rule what is isn't, I've had the wheels balanced and 2 tires replaced. Any help, information, similar experiences would be greatly appreciated!

AMG
Could be a worn suspension (bushing, struts, etc.) Are any shocks leaking? Are the bushings cracked our worn out?

It may be time to update your suspension with MB sportline-spec parts

Thanks for the ideas. I took the car to get an alignment today but haven't had a chance to put it on the highway to try it out yet. I'll post back once I have a chance to give it a good road test. Thanks again.

it might be something really simple - like balancing your tires.
