leaking motor oil 93 e300 2.8

just wondering where the common leaks are for the 104 engine. Besides the oil pan and head gasket, where else could oil be leaking from?

I think the front timing cover is another problem area, but maybee just for M103 engines.

I don't know, I've never done this myself. However if you decide to have the repair done you might as well have the timing chain replaced while you're at it if it's never been replaced before.

do not try anything. Just have it fixed. All quick fixes are a waste of money. Change time chain as well

I agree with E320star, have the timing cover fixed, oil additives are not the way to go. If you haven't had the timing chain replaced yet, then do it, you might want to consider having the head gasket done while they've got the engin apart as well. This may set you back a couple of grand but will probably be the last major repair you will ever have to make on that car.
