Engine shutdown on turn

My '92 300ce has shutdown twice when making a right turn. Power steering kicks out midway and have to "manual" steer out of turn and then restart the car. Any ideas, please?

It happened to me when I deaccelerated . The engine shut down and all the lights went on. Of course, no power steering. It is not easy to find the cause. Having cleaned the idel control valve and some connectors, idel remains around 900 (before was normal at 650) when engine started. Around 550 when I come to stop. (According to the manual , it should be 650 when idel). 300 miles since I have cleaned the icv, the problem not yet come back. I hope this will help.

don't know if this will help or not but I had a jeep with the same problem. turned out to be the clock spring in the steering wheel. This is a little ring of metal that allows all the electronic functions on the steering wheel to stay connected while the wheel is turning so you don't have to twist a bunch of wires. I would bet your problem is something similar.
