gear shifter P-R-D-2-3 Question

i dont remember if this illuminates @ night... can someone look for me? If it is supposed too.... then i have another damn bulb out and need help in how to replace this one as well...

Yes, it should light up with the rest of the dash lites...easy to replace but you need to remove the wood cover that surrounds the shifter. 1 philips screw at the base by your elbow, then pivot it up toward the dash...the switches will pop out of the plugs...not to worry.

Make sure you get the correct bulb from MB also (there are a few that all look the same with different wattages)...the plug that holds the bulb it is at the top front of the shifter assembly (at least it is on my 500E)
