1995 E200-124
![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Will someone be kind enough to suggest a rough book valuation (U.K.) on the following car:
Model: E200-124 Auto saloon
Year of Registration: 1995 ('N')
Mileage: 55,400 miles
Condition: Excellent, standard factory specification (no modifications).
Colour (exterior): Silver over grey.
History: Two-owner vehicle.
Service History: FMBSH up to 2002 then FSH using independent Mercedes specialist.
Last M.O.T. performed by Mercedes-Benz dealer @ 52,300 miles.
I need both a trade-in value against a new Mercedes and what I should ask for in a private sale.

Try asking at www.mbclub.co.uk and you'll find a more UK centric bunch of people that may be able to help.

W124 E320 Cabriolet Sportline
W124 valuation
Have just sold my E220 that had 87,000 miles on the clock. It was a one owner car (me), and was in fantastic nck with recently refurb'd 8 hole alloys. I got £2,500 for it from a dealer in exhange for a E320 cabriolet of the same year.
It went on the forecourt for resale at £5,500, a price which reflected its condition. It was sold within the weekend. I tried to advertise it privately but was played around by plonkers who were out for fun at my expense!

I hope that you got a good deal on the E320, otherwise I might be forgiven for thinking that your dealer owns a black horse, drinks at the 'Stand & Deliver' and goes by the name of Richard Turpin!
