Passenger Power seat

I don't know if it's me or it's the way the passenger side seat only works that far. The other day I was messing with the reclining switch, and I want it to move forward and it stops at a certain point, and yet the Driver side goes a little more forward before it stops. Is it how it normal for the passgener side? or it there something wrong with the motor?

To my best knowledge both seats shoud have the same range of motion. I would suggest you stop by a stealership and have them compared to another or make a determination.

Move the seat all the way forward. This usually resets something and then you are able to move it back. I've had that happen once to my driver's seat.

I had the very same thing happen to me when the car was new (to me). I moved it all the way back and discovered the cap to one of the fog lamps was under there and blocking the seat from going forward all the way.

Thanks guys, i just figured out what was wrong. My stupid date was messing with the switch when it was reclined all the way down to the back and messed up the motor. So i moved it all the way forwarded and it reset it. Thank god! Otherwise I would had a cow with my date.
